ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION
Her Italian Chambers of Commerce believe that the register of the enterprises both a formidable

Italian Chambers, through Infocamere, they are among the partners founders of EBR. EBR has
realizato a network telematico among the registers of the enterprises that it connects 18 countries
dell UE and 6 countries estra UE. Thanks to EBR today it is possible to consult on-line the official
data of over 20 million enterprises. In Italy, the access is directed by the home page of
www.registroimprese.it. It deals with an excellent case of initiative of European administrations
with a joined public service, unitary, operational and of great utility.
On this base the Italian Chambers of Commerce propose that the Italian answers direct him to the
development of EBR what hinge to improve the access to the data of the registers of the enterprises
to European level. Following the questions set in the Green Paper, the followings are proposed you

it is recorded as holder of quotas / actions of enterprises of the union.

COOPERATION AMONG REGISTERS
The Register Undertook Italian, through InfoCamere and the Chambers in Venice and Milan,
you/he/she has participated in the project BRITE. The project has realized a prototype of system of
communication among registers with the purpose to exchange information and documents among
the registers in case of transfer of center inside the union and in the case of alri events that concern
enterprises with locations in more states of the UE. The results of the project BRITE will be
integrated soon in the network EBR. On this base the Italian answers should support the
development of EBR what useful network also to the cooperation among the registers. They
propose therefore the followings you sprout.

BRITE, to support of the European policieses that foresees informative exchanges among the
registers themselves (If, fusion transfrontaliera, transfer of centers, services what BDS and DOR,

defines the situations, the times and the formalities of informative exchanges to support of the
policieses of which above.

As it regards the IMI, the point of view of the Chambers of Commerce is that the system IMI is a
formidable tool because the administrative cooperation among States Members can happen in
effective and transparent way; an improper use of the system IMI, besides degrading the
performances of the tool, it also degrades the rapidity with which information can reach the
interested forehand. This means that if an information is immediately already available in a State
Member (for example through the consultation of registers public), the application of the same
information through the IMI represents an improper use that creates the conditions of of it I
